About Henry C. Meier, Esq.
Henry has broad knowledge at the nexus of law, regulatory compliance and politics. Prior to starting his practice, Henry served as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel of the New York Credit Union Association, where he oversaw the legal, compliance, and governmental relations activities on behalf of the association and its affiliate mortgage company.
Prior to his work at the Association, Henry served as a Counsel to the Assembly Republican Conference where he was responsible for advising members on financial services issues. He has spoken on a broad range of topics, including emerging issues related to cryptocurrencies, artificial intelligence, arbitration clauses, cannabis banking and more. His widely read, “New York’s State of Mind,” compliance blog earned a national audience. He has been interviewed by several publications, including The Wall Street Journal Law Blog, The New York Law Journal, Law 360, Credit Union Times, and The Credit Union Connection. Henry is admitted to practice in New York State, the Second Circuit and is a member of the U.S. Supreme Court Bar. He is a graduate of American University and the Hofstra School of Law.
